I qualified from the University of Ghent in 2005 with distinction
and received the title Master in Veterinary Medicine.
In 2006 I moved to Donegal in the Republic of Ireland to
practice in a farm animal clinic. In March 2007 I joined
Fairfield where I achieved a General Practionar Certificate
in Veterinary Dermatology. I deal with more challenging
skin cases in the practice but have a particular interest
in atopic dermatitis and cutaneous oncology.
Outside of work I love travelling. Thanks to my parents
I often had the opportunity to go abroad. Ive been
in Italy, Spain, France, Austria, UK, Ireland, Germany,
the Netherlands and the Philippines.
In 2004 I went to Mali in Africa to take part in a project
with Vétérinaires sans frontiers.
My other interests include gardening, cooking, dancing
and animals. I grew up with cats, chickens and rabbits but
now I have my own little moggy cat Hija de Luna
(or just Luna).
